MEET OMNIA ABDULQADIR
Omnia Abdulqadir is an empowering and accomplished graphic designer and videographer. Omnia is highly fond of creating videos particularly on her phone, as well as. She also enjoys the process that goes into her mind and the research process that allows her to feel enlightened by the concept of seeing the outcome representation of the art in her head. Conceptual art and the depth of each artist and the way an artist can reflect an idea, a cause, or opinion but a work of art that beautifies a space. The graphic designer told Fekr, “Honestly, I can't imagine myself doing anything else but working in art, my life has completely changed while being fond of the arts field. Art is everything and nothing, its imagination & excitement. Art is everything you understand it to be, and it's full of emotions and stories. “
Omnia believes that if she would have to choose a favorite piece it would be “Monachopsis”. The inspiration behind this piece was fairly simple, the idea of humans and what they think and feel about home.
“It was about what it means to be “at home” in human life.
Many people conceptualize home as a place of safety and security.
In some cases, this sense of home is identified with a physical place. In other cases, it is identified with a state of mind into which we can withdraw to escape a troubling world around us. In this sense, it might represent a space of writing, or a memory, feeling, or emotion we once experienced, or one we can imagine experiencing if things were to fall into place for us.

A prominent issue that Omnia faces in the creative world is the concept of building a visual language and a supportive audience for oneself. Art can be interpreted in many ways and one's work and thoughts can very easily be an issue for other artists or designers and can be an issue within the early stages of an artist's career but with strength and perseverance, there can be great outcomes. She also believes that a change that she would like to see happen is chances and trust being given to young artists as well as space to experiment and keep on trying. Lastly, a piece of advice that Omnia would give to her younger self would be to read more, “I would tell myself to kill my curiosity at the moment and gain the knowledge I want immediately.”
